Sales Coordinator - BC
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting regional Broad Market and Wealth sales teams including event planning, managing the local calendar of events, logistics, and on-the-ground support.
You will also support Advisor onboarding (including introduction of PPI website), website user management and the implementation of sales initiatives such as marketing allowance, Advantage program, Advisor segmentation process, monitoring and updating Advisor service levels in WealthServ and running reports.
You will be responsible for responding to Advisor and wholesaler inquiries and connecting Advisors to internal services as required. This is a contract role of approximately 14 months.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the local delivery of national sales and marketing programs such as the Knowledge Program, including ongoing production coordination and dissemination of supporting collateral material. Assist in planning and executing all aspects of events such as PD Days, Regional PPI Days, annual Advisor Conference, off-site sales meetings.
Provide support for local and national Symposiums by ensuring on-site readiness of facilities, materials, speakers (including wholesalers), booth displays, hand-outs, etc. Communicate events appropriately to Advisors.
Coordinate with sales team and wholesalers to plan and execute all Marketing Allowance events.
Ensure that new or revised sales programs, materials and services are produced and delivered in a professional manner consistent with national brand standards.
Prepare Welcome Kits for all new Advisors; prepare Advantage Advisor Kits.
Set up Advisors to provide them with access to all relevant PPI systems – website, toolkit, WealthServ Broker Portal, HPN, etc. and educate Advisors on the use of the various systems as required.
Prepare and distribute all forms of Advisor communication; manage various distribution lists for communication purposes.
Utilize WealthServ to provide appropriate data on Advisor segmentation and other special projects to assist senior management.
Work with the Manager, National Sales Initiatives to coordinate the preparation and delivery of PPI marketing and sales material, arrange promotional item sourcing and production, and maintain/update sales-related information such as the events calendar on the Advisor secure website.
Assist in the analysis of local sales data and look for improvements in sales practices.
Coordinate the production of sales presentations developed for national use with the corporate Communications team and assist in organizing the SharePoint library.
Apply for CE accreditation with all regulatory bodies (Advocis, AIC, IIROC, etc.).
Assist the Vice-President, Sales with various duties, including but not limited to coordinating and managing his schedule.
Participate in special projects as necessary.
Job Knowledge / Work Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related field required
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) required
Proven organization and logistics skills
Knowledge of life insurance sales strongly desired; knowledge of contracting processes desired
Effective problem solver with the initiative to be innovative and creative
Strong interpersonal skills: desire to work in a team environment
Strong written and oral communication skills
Positive attitude with ‘service’ focus
Proven ability to handle confidential material with the highest level of discretion
Education, Certifications or Licenses:
University/college graduation in a business related program desired
